In September 2017, RICC officially introduced its first cheer team. Though small in number, the cheerleaders have provided tremendous spirit and energy from the sidelines during games. At the Knights' game vs. Lake Catholic (Mentor, Ohio), the girls were able to perform during the half-time show. After the football season ends in November, they are looking to move into competitions that showcase a mixture of cheer, tumbling, and dance.
