About Us

The Royal Imperial Knights are one of the few Canadian high school football teams that focus on American rules football and play a full football season in the United States. Conveniently located in St. Catharines, Ontario (close to Niagara Falls and the U.S. border), the team plays most games in nearby states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, but also travels to other regions such as New England and southern states to play tough competition and expose players to as many different opportunities as possible.

The football program is a year-round academy that does not end in November with the completion of the football season. Players participate in a rigorous off-season training program meant to increase their speed, agility, strength, and skills. Assistance with CIS/NCAA recruiting is also provided, and there is a bridge between athletics and academics through tutorials/study hall sessions and SAT/ACT preparation.

The Knight's Creed

"Now this is the law of the jungle (Hoorah!)

It is old and true as the sky (Hoorah!)

The warrior that heeds it will live (Hoorah!)

The warrior that doesn't will die! (Hoorah!)

 We'll always stand together! (Hoorah!)

We'll never stand apart! (Hoorah!)

You can't take a Knight's spirit!

You'll never take a Knight's heart!
